What is Artificial intelligence?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a method that teaches computers to process data in a way that's inspired by the human brain.
AI is often categorized into four main types: reactive machines, limited memory, theory of mind, and self-awareness.
Here are some other types of AI:
- A subfield of AI based on artificial neural networks. Deep learning algorithms require data to learn and solve problems. Deep learning models can recognize complex patterns in pictures, text, sounds, and other data to produce accurate insights and predictions.
- A type of AI that can create new content and ideas, including conversations, stories, images, videos, and music. Generative AI leverages deep learning and massive datasets to produce high-quality, human-like creative outputs.
- Also known as Weak AI or Artificial Narrow Intelligence, Narrow AI refers to AI systems that are designed to perform a specific task or a set of closely related tasks. Narrow AI is limited in scope. It doesn't possess understanding or consciousness, but rather, it follows pre-programmed rules or learns patterns from data.
